As an Artist

As an artist, my work is centered around capturing the timeless beauty ​found in nature, the intimate stories of homes, and the rich expressions of ​human faces. Nature serves as my primary inspiration, influencing my ​serene landscapes that reflect the tranquility of forests and the rhythmic ​waves of shorelines along the PNW. Through each brushstroke, I aim to ​convey a sense of wonder and reverence for our natural world, inviting ​viewers to contemplate its fleeting beauty and interconnectedness.

In addition to landscapes, I explore the narrative embedded in houses and ​architecture, seeking to capture the essence of home—the echoes of lives ​lived, dreams nurtured, and memories cherished. Portraiture, meanwhile, ​allows me to delve into the depths of human emotion and diversity, ​celebrating the universal aspects of love, resilience, and vulnerability.

Through my art, I aspire to provoke thought, evoke emotion, and foster ​connections that transcend boundaries, celebrating the transformative ​power of creativity in our lives.

Art Education

Teaching students about art is a passion of mine. I aim to help support ​their development of skills and engage them in a variety of ways to ​express themselves through their artwork.

I currently teach K-12 Art at Commodore Options School on ​Bainbridge Island, WA.
